Our Favorite Bike Routes-
Beach Boardwalk- Anywhere from 5th to 25th! The board walk is wide and is full of joggers, roller bladers, walkers, and beautiful views!
From South Beach to Midtown- we recommend the Venetian causeway for the best bridge access
Wynwood Walls- grab a beer while you're on that bike and check out the vivid street-art of Wynwood. This part of town is best seen by bike (you might miss some of it in your car or not have time to see everything on foot)
SoFi- Go south of fifth on the beach and curve around the very southern tip of South Beach. There aren't as many restaurants or shops in this area, but it's a quiet ride and best for sunsets. We recommend a picnic in one of the parks and a ride along the bay to see all of the boats.
Oletta State Park- If you're looking for some serious mountain biking, this option in North Miami is the best route for you.
The fabulous weather makes biking in Miami is the best! There are bike lanes (or lanes with a triangle symbol that indicate drivers must share the roads.
*If you have a beach cruiser...head to the boardwalk. Miami sand is packed and perfectly compressed at the top of the beach. It makes walking and biking easier.
*If you are a tourist...Many hotels have bikes that they offer customers for free. Just make sure to lock them up!
*If you are bike-less....have no fear! There are Deco Bikes on every other corner. Check this link to see Deco Bike locations. Just grab your credit card, pick up a bike, and return it at any Deco bike location. They are literally outdoor bike racks that have bikes to rent based on the hour or day.
